Katie Cecil

Katie was initially a dancer with Thomson Cruises after leaving The Dancers School aged 18. From there she went on to study at the Guildord School of Acting, where she later became a tutor for movement and stage combat. Katie was with the UK tour of The Dresser with Julian Glover and Nicholas Lyndhurst as ASM and understudy, and performed the role of Irene in the same play in London. Katie was in the Channel 4 drama "Mo" with Julie Walters, and the BBC3 series "Lip Service". She was also in Peter Pan in Sunderland using her fight instructor background for the pirate fights with Captain Hook.

 

Adam Philpott

Adam was involved in dancing, singing & acting from an early age, but only began classes at The Dancers School at the age of 15.  Adam performed in many amateur shows locally, and in the summer of 2001 worked professionally as a singer & dancer with "Dream Kids" on a national tour. After studying for a National Diploma in Performing Arts at Great Yarmouth College, he went on to study for a degree in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational Schools, London.

After college, Adam performed professionally in "West Side Story" and "The Sound of Music" in Cyprus. He was in the original UK cast premiere of "White Christmas" in Southampton, and then performed in the UK tour of "Oklahoma!" and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". Adam then went on to the UK tour of "Dirty Dancing", and then went into the West End as dance captain of "Dirty Dancing".

Adam has recently directed ‘Edges’ at Tabard Theatre (West End Fringe), ‘Zombie Prom’ (Chatham Theatre), as well as teaching/directing in various drama schools and colleges in London.

 

Emma Scholes

From an early age, Emma was involved primarily with singing & acting, taking numerous lead roles in local shows, including West Side Story & South Pacific with Dusmagrik Young Peoples Theatre Group. Emma began taking classes at The Dancers School from the age of 13, and went on to be awarded a National Diploma in performing arts & A levels in Dance & Music at Great Yarmouth College. On leaving college, Emma continued classes in singing, drama & dance locally, while working to save enough money to attend vocational college.

Gemma Daniels

Gemma was a pupil of The Dancers School from a very early age, taking classes in ballet, modern, tap & jazz. As a child, Gemma performed with the London Lewis Ballet Company, & later worked as a dancer in Jim Davidson's pantomime in Great Yarmouth. Having successfully auditioned for Performers College in Essex, Gemma left school at 16, and went to study dance & musical theatre full time. While still at college, Gemma was selected for a great deal of professional work including An Audience with Kylie Minogue for LWT, the IBC awards in Holland, contracts in Sweden & France, & numerous cabaret performances at the Grosvenor Hotel in London. Gemma graduated from college in July 2002, beginning her first full-time contract immediately, as dance captain for Comedy Bonanza 2002 with Cannon & Ball at the Opera House, Blackpool. Since then Gemma has worked mainly with the Spirit of the Dance company in their UK & International tours which have taken her to many different countries including the Far East & the USA. Gemma has also worked as a choreographer for hotels in Spain and Morocco.

Josh Lacey

Josh left The Dancers School to continue his vocational training at Performers College in Essex, at the age of 16. On leaving college, his first job took him straight into the West End in the original London cast of "Wicked" at the Apollo, Victoria. Since then, Josh has appeared in various West End musicals including "Billy Elliot" at the Palace Theatre, Victoria, "Chicago" at the Cambridge Theatre, "Crazy for You" at the Novello Theatre, and in the orignal cast of "From Here to Eternity" at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Josh has also been in "Crazy for You", "Ragtime" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre productions. He went to Australia with the tour of "One Man, Two Guv'ners", was in "The Magistrate" at the National Theatre, London, and in 2014 has been appearing in "Richard III" at Trafalgar Studios, London.

Charlotte Durrant

On leaving The Dancers School, Charlotte trained at Hertfordshire Theatre School and is currently teaching interactive music classes for the under 5s, for the company Funnybones.

 

She is part of the Market Theatre Cabaret Singers, starring in many different shows from all eras. She also has her own solo cabaret show and performs regularly in The Cocktail Bar in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Charlotte has recently played the lead of Jennifer Cramer in the "Jennifer Cramer Mysteries", a series of three whodunits set in the 1920s. 

Beth Harris

Since leaving The Dancers School, Beth has been to Roehampton University and gained a First Class Honours degree in Dance Studies. Whilst living in London she got the opportunity to dance in the Exeter Fringe festival, Resolutions at The Place, and the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony alongside Annie Lennox. Beth has also worked as a teaching assistant for a dance and theatre School in Putney, South West London. She's now on her first professional dance contract working at a show restaurant in Cyprus. Beth is also looking forward to returning to England to start her second contract as a dancer in pantomime, and getting to work with Jayne again.

Hannah Titterington

On leaving The Dancers School, Hannah continued her training at the Reynolds Performing Arts Academy, where she gained an Extended Diploma in Performing Arts, a Creative Practitioner Diploma in Professional Dance Theatre, & certificates in Instructing Exercise & Fitness and in Personal Training.

As well as numerous performances while at college, including a 1920's Cabaret and A Night of Burlesque in Mayfair, London, and MOVEIT 2012 & 2013 at London Olympia, Hannah was also dance captain for PEAK "Fusion" at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford.

Since leaving college, Hannah has been in T.I.E. pantomimes Robin Hood, Red Riding Hood & Puss in Boots, and was also principal boy in Robinson Crusoe with Shooting Star Entertainments. Hannah was a featured dancer in the 2014 Flashmob in Soho, London for the "Happy Days" UK tour.

She has also danced at The Grand Hotel & The Royal Hotel, Scarborough with Explosive Productions Ltd. and is shortly starting rehearsals for a 6 month cruiseline contract. In between professional performance work, Hannah has also been teaching dance in various dance & theatre schools.

 Ruth Patterson's first contract was on the SAGA Rose which took her all over the world, & later became head girl for the team. Later Jobs for Sun Vista took her to the Far East, & then dance captain for Warners.

 

 Ellie Darnell  went on to Hertfordshire University & was awarded a 2:1 BA honours degree in Performing Arts in June 2000. Ellie performed with the London Lewis ballet company & as a dancer in professional pantomime, as choreographer & member of the entertainments team at the Forbidden Planet in L'Estartit, Spain and at the Hippodrome, Great Yarmouth.
